This website was made as part of an employee grievance against a drug rehab and detox.
The detox unit closed and has since reopened. It is now certainly much better run.
The website is left up for reference and will not be updated except to remove material that now seems inappropriate (to my adequately medicated mind).
If you see something on the website that you feel is inappropriate, for whatever reason, contact me and it will be removed.
The website reflects conditions at the rehab / detox in 2007, not today.
August 9th, 2007 the state Department of Labor asked the Salvation Army about some of the issues on this website.
24 hours later, the Salvation Army abruptly shut it's Detox. No notice was given to anyone.
Addicts were kicked out in mid-detox. Employees were given severance packages and fired.
In 2007, Government agencies gave Salvation Army Clitheroe about $4,000,000 in substance abuse grants, as well as other funds (e.g. here).
